Veggie Vodka Pizza

The other night I made a pizza that we adored, so here’s the recipe.


Whole Wheat Pizza Dough Recipe

Olive Oil (to brush on crust)

Garlic Salt

Italian Seasoning

Cayenne Pepper

1/4 to 1/2 cup Vodka Sauce

2 small yellow squash, sliced

1-2 cups spinach

1 large tomato, sliced

6-8oz Mozzarella or Almond Cheese


Follow the pizza dough recipe. (Don’t bake yet.)

When dough is ready preheat oven to 450,  roll out on pizza pan, fold up sides to form the crust, and brush the crust with olive oil.

Sprinkle with garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and cayenne pepper.

Poke a few holes in the dough and bake at 450 for about 5 minutes.

Spread Vodka Sauce.

Add sliced squash.

Pile on Spinach.

Add tomatoes.

Pile on the cheese.

Sprinkle cheese with a thin layer of cayenne pepper

(if you like a bit of a kick). If you haven’t tried slightly

spicy pizza but enjoy spicy foods, you should give this

a try!

Bake at 450 for 10-15 minutes until crust is golden.
